She was born in Los Angeles, CA to the proud parents of Laurine and Chester Demus.  She has five sisters in which she is the baby of the family.  She finished high school then set sail for college at Grambling State University, where she studied Nursing.  She came to find out after accomplishing all those goals that she still had a long love for acting, a dream that has been burning in her bones ever since she could remember.  Now, its momentous that she give thanks to the love of her life, the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for His mercy and favor over her life.  He is allowing her to do her thang, and thats acting in one of the most powerful and soul winning plays to spread the Gospel and the Good News, in You Better Check Yourself. 

Melody feels the way this world is going, its really time to check yourself.  In her words, "Thank you God". she contributes this play, to her dad Reverend Chester C. Demus, who passed away  on November 11, 2001. "Love Ya Dad".

Melody delivers such a comedic flavor to her character, that she will leave you in stitches.  She is really on top of her game.  We believe Melody should further her study in acting.  She has proven to be diligent in her study and development in the character she portrays.  We thank the Lord for bringing her gift to this project, and for her open and dedicated spirit.
